Table 133: IEEE 802.11 WLAN Standards support by the HsM Gateway LAN
Starting with Gateway Firmware version 2.1 the gateway supports most extensions (802.11c-y) to the standards listed in table 133. Many of these however will need additional configuration through the gateway's web page or via SSH and are not supported through Hagleitner 360 App.
Ubiquity Unifi networks have a configuration setting named Connect high performance clients to 5GHz. When turned on, the Unifi Access Points try to determine if a network station supports 5Ghz and will then force it to use 5Ghz. As of August 2021, the Unifi AP firmware detects the capabilities of the HsM Gateway LAN wrongly and forces it to use 5GHz regardless - which is actually not supported by the gateway. Therefore, for the gateway to work in these networks, this option must be disabled in the Unifi network configuration.
