The gateway offers SSH network shell access. By default SSH access is limited to certificate-based authentication and SSH password logins are limited to non-root users. I.e. out of the box you cannot connect to the gateway with SSH. However you can configure the gateway via the Configuration Web Page such that you can log in as root user with password.
Note: By default the gateway will be configured with a SSH-Key of the manufacturer. If needed (e.g. due to security policies), this SSH-Key can be removed. However support options for the gateway will be limited then. |
