Stored device filters are device filters stored for reuse. Stored device filters are stored for specific customers and can can be propagated to other customers via customer relations.
Note: The stored device filter is stored for a specific customer and propagated to other customers via customer relationships. When executed on a child customer the base set of devices is that of the customer on which the device filter is executed (and probably child customers thereof). |
When storing device filters, the Client Service will check hard and soft validity constraints. Only valid device filters can be stored.
A stored device filter must always have a non-empty name. The system does not check the uniqueness of device filter names. The name is stored as a phrase and can therefore be defined separately for each locale, the phrase must have at least one non-empty translation.
