Customer service requests settings

Resellers can configure details for customer service requests. Customer service request settings are bound to the capability CUSTOMER_SERVICE_REQUESTS .

Customer service request settings can be viewed by users with VIEW_CUSTOMER permission and can be modified by users with the permission EDIT_CUSTOMER_SERVICE_REQUEST_SETTINGS

Setting

Description

Allow customer service requests

Boolean, Mandatory, default: false

If true this reseller allows the creation of customer service requests.

Terms and conditions URL

URL, default: empty.

The URL where terms and conditions for customer service requests handled by this reseller are available.

Inheritance mode

Customer service request type inheritance mode (see table 72). Mandatory, Default: Inherit all but selected

Description

Do not inherit

This reseller does not inherit any Customer service request types from ancestor resellers.

Inherit all but selected

 

All but the selected Customer service request type are inherited from the reseller (exclusion list).

This is the default value for newly created resellers.

Inherit only selected

Only selected Customer service request type are inherited from the reseller (inheritance list)

Effective customer service request settings

The customer service request settings that are effective for a specific customer are those of the responsible reseller. A user can view the effective customer service request settings of a customer if permission VIEW_CUSTOMER is granted on that customer.
