HsM Reference Manual

HsM supports branding, i.e. user interfaces, and where necessary HsM Backend services, can be adapted to fit to the corporate identity of the instance operator and/or customers within HsM. Branding is implemented by the Client Service. Other services and user interfaces can make use of branding via the Client Service APIs.

The basic principle of branding in HsM is that there is always a default branding for the whole system - the instance branding. Parts of the branding options defined in the instance branding can be overwritten on a per-customer basis (customer branding). When a user works with HsM in the context of a customer, the effective branding will be the instance branding combined with the customer branding.
