Customer branding

A subset of the branding options available for instance branding can be overwritten for specific customers, i.e. customers within an HsM instance can have a customer branding That customer branding and will apply whenever a user works with HsM in the context of that customer. When users interact with HsM without a customer context, the instance branding will apply.

Note: The actual implementation of customer branding is done in HsM user interfaces. The client service only provides the values for branding options.

Note: Customer branding is not intended to be a complete white labeling.

Customer branding is propagated to sub-customers in the reseller relation. The effectively used branding for a specific customer is the instance branding combined with the customer branding of the closest customer on the inclusive reseller relationship path that has a branding defined. If no customer on the inclusive reseller path has a branding defined the instance branding will be used.
