The HsM Catalog Service provides data that describes the physical, electrical and firmware characteristics of HsM device-types and their digital twins. This data can be used by clients of the service to dynamically adapt to the characteristics of different device-types and at the same type provides a documentation for the human reader.
Additionally the Catalog Service is the source for firmware binaries. I.e. it provides firmware-versions for different component-types that clients can download and then apply to the actual physical devices.
HsM does not provide a user interface to the Catalog Service as this service is intended to be used by other software systems.
Data served by the Catalog Service is solely created and modified by Hagleitner. The service includes data for multiple HsM OEM Partners. Authorization principles however ensure that one HsM OEM Partner cannot see or work with data associated with another HsM OEM Partner.
