Service request life-cycle status

Service requests are always in a defined life-cycle status, these status can be furthermore grouped into active and inactive status, see table 58.

Figure 5 show the possible transitions between life-cycle status. The possible transitions between life-cycle status is bound to conditions that are different for device service requests and customer service requests.

Active

The service request was created but not yet ordered and is therefore not visible to the responsible reseller.

Ordered

Active

The service request is freed for the responsible reseller for handling.

In Progress

Active

The reseller is currently working on the service request.

Canceled

Inactive

The service request was canceled.

Closed

Inactive

The service request was closed by the responsible reseller.
